Neste Oil sold its first batch of NExBTL renewable diesel to the US market

Neste Oil has recently supplied its first batch of NExBTL renewable diesel to the US market. The fuel, which qualifies as an advanced biofuel in the US, was produced at the company's Porvoo refinery in Finland from waste fats.

Millenium Technology Prize finalists chosen

The laureates of the 2012 Millennium Technology Prize have been declared today. The two prominent innovators are Dr. Shinya Yamanaka, a stem cell pioneer, and Linus Torvalds, open source software engineer. Neste Oil has been one of the main corporate partners of the Millenium Technology Prize since 2006.
