I participated in an interesting seminar last year and one topic among many others was creativity. The seminar speaker stated his claim, which took at least me by surprise: The most important leadership quality in the coming five years is creativity.

As supply chains are becoming longer and more complex, supply security moves into
the focus of organizations. Even small disruptions at one part of the chain have the
potential to impact on costs and the relationship with the end customer.

One of the major yearly events in the base oil industry is getting closer. I’m talking
about the ICIS World base oil conference in London on the 20–22 February where
everyone seems to be going!
