Storebrand Neste Oil has also been selected as a sustainable investment for the new Storebrand Trippel Smart and SPP Global Topp 100 fund launched at the beginning of October this year. According to the Norwegian-based Storebrand banking and financial group behind the fund, selection indicates that Neste Oil is one of the world's most sustainable companies on the basis of its performance in the field. The fund is the first of its type in the Nordic region.
A total of 100 companies representing a range of different sectors from around the world have been selected for inclusion in the fund on the basis of their financial performance and their work in the area of sustainability. The review that preceded selection focused on companies' future prospects and their contribution to building a sustainable world. Qualification to the fund is awarded on an annual basis.
